Wonderful Mexican food option for these Tex-Mex loving Texans! Great food and friendly service. Husband said the margaritas very very good. Added bonus... live music! The musician was so fun and even had little shakers for the kids to participate!

It should be possible to give 0 stars. Or in our case, we would give Sarita's a -4 star rating because myself, my wife, and the couple we were eating with will NOT be back to this establishment.
Customer service is obviously a missing chapter in their training manual. The food was adequate, but not anything I would tell anyone: "Hey if you want good Mexican food, then go there." But the ABSOLUTE worst was the owner. After waiting over an hour for our food (the waitress said that the shrimp took a long time to cook), we asked to speak to a manager and a man came to our table to tell us that the waitress had forgotten to put our order in. So the waitress had lied to us about that and then he said: "If I would've known that story, then I would've said THAT too. Haha" So this tells us right off the bat that customer service means NOTHING to this person. He then said: "Sorry, it's been a busy day". Nothing else. (It was Cinco de Mayo)
After a few minutes I walked to the bar and asked the same man if he was just the night manager or if there was maybe a GM (general manager) I could speak with. This is when he identified himself as the OWNER. My question must have irritated him because he instantly got an attitude. I tried to explain to him that GOOD customer service stories are shared with very few people, but BAD customer service is shared and then re-shared several times over.
I then turned and went back to our table, but was followed by the owner. It was becoming a scene, so I told him not once, but twice .... that we were through talking, but he continued anyway. I then told him again that we were done and if he needed me to get loud so the whole restaurant could hear about our service, I would gladly do that. He then left the table.
We received our bills, but even that was wrong. Had to wait even longer just to give them our money. At no time was there any true remorse shown by the waitress or the owner. At no time was there ever an offer of "Let me take a little off your bill" or "How about I get a desert on the house for y'all".
I grew up in the restaurant world and know if you want repeat business, you earn it with good food and more importantly good service. Average food can be made better with a great wait staff and caring management.
Tonight's average food was made worse with poor service and even poorer management. Some places deserve a second chance. Sarita's does NOT. There are plenty of choices in the Denham Springs area and we will definitely be choosing to eat elsewhere. -

Ate here yesterday but have dined several times in the last couple of years. My husband had tacos which came with rice and beans and I ate chicken nachos. We've eaten fajitas and taco salads in the past and have never had a bad meal. Always look forward to returning.

Stumbled into this place. While in Denham Springs today it's by Bass Pro and Hardee's.
It's a Mexican buffet the adult price is $11.95.
They had a pretty good assortment of stuff, beef and chicken enchiladas, beef taco's and taco salad, 2 kinds of Spanish rice, pork stew, refried beans, taquitos and a few more things and a salad bar and a small dessert area.
The chips, salsa and queso are all good and complimentary with the buffet. There is also tortilla soup and charro beans on the buffet. The food was pretty good not the best I've ever had but it was good enough that I'll go back next time I'm in the area.
Service was also good and the place was clean -

We really enjoyed the atmosphere, lunch buffet was great and tasted just as if we had single ordered. Waitress was spot on with all desires and very personable. Will definitely return!
